    Background services cover a variety of useful tools that are all geared to provide facts and history about a specific person, event, company or group. Some of the regular online searches you can do online for $10-20 may work for some things, but many times the information is either wrong, or badly out of date. If pulling a report as a starting point, we use a variety of databases that are only for licensed private investigators or law enforcement agencies. This data is going to be much more accurate and current then what you may find using a paid online search engine.

    In many cases, getting the report is only the first step. We have to go back and verify the information to ensure its accurate and then use that info to get us to the next level of information. This can be useful in Social Media Mining, OSINT (open source intelligence) or dossier building.
